Your followers do enjoy getting inside information about upcoming sales and promotions, but reading that “Bob from accounting drank all of the coffee and didn’t make more”, is getting a little too deep in the minutia of your daily activities. Remember, like everything else you do, there should be a benefit to your customers or your company in every Tweet.

Twitter gives you a live, real-time line of communication to your customers, for a business trying to establish it’s self, this is invaluable. You can promote new products and services instantly, let your customers know about upcoming sales, changes in hours of operation, or even put out the word about special events. Twitter is an amazing communications tool for small businesses, and one that you should definitely master.
